NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

AUGUST MEETING WILL BE HELD VIRTUALLY

The Houghton County Road Commission (HCRC) will meet virtually on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 1:30 PM EST.

You must identify yourself with a legal first and last name prior to any public comment.

You may be muted by the moderator until such time as the meeting is open for public comment. At that time, you may unmute your microphone if you are connected via video or computer, or press *6 to unmute if you are connected via phone. You will then need to introduce yourself, and wait to be addressed by the chair. Anyone being disruptive may be muted by the moderator as needed for the board to conduct orderly business.

N O T I C E OF
WINTER PARKING PROHIBITION

HOUGHTON COUNTY ROAD COMMISSION

In accordance with Act 300, PA of 1949, there has been issued a Traffic Control Order no.PA 31-08-92 on April 24, 1992, which states that in all of Houghton County, "There shall be no parking on either the roadway or shoulder of any state trunkline highway or county road outside of incorporated cities and villages between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. (local time) from November 1 of any year through April 15 of the succeeding year".

This traffic control order has been made as a result of a traffic engineering investigation jointly with the Michigan Department of Transportation, Michigan Department of State Police and the Houghton County Road Commission.
