NOTES:
- The weight limitations listed above are the
general policy of the Houghton County Road
Commission, however, because of the great variation
of surface types and underlying soils, certain roads
may be limited to a greater degree or for longer
periods of time in the spring of the year.
- The Houghton County Road Commission also reserves
the right to limit heavy hauling of any type and/or
to require a bond to be posted at any time of the
year, if road surfaces may be damaged by any such
activity.
- All over weight and over size hauling on a county
road requires a permit obtainable at the Houghton
County Road Commission Office in Ripley, Michigan.
