Dust Control

If your road has a gravel surface (not sod or sand), you may contact your township to see if they are going to participate in a township-wide dust control program with the Road Commission. If your township is unable to participate, you may participate directly with the Road Commission. Dust control of county roads has a short benefit and it is not effective on roads without surface gravel. Dust control placed on sand roads is immediately absorbed in the subbase and provides relief for only a few days.
